Price Guide

All listed prices are considered base prices and will increase with complexity, number of fur types/colours, add-ons and any additional requests. Prices listed are subject to change at any time, without prior notice. Base prices include 1-2 fur colours, 1-3 minky/fleece colours and a simple symmetrical design. Add-ons are highly variable in price and will depend on the exact request, hence why most have a large average price range. Please describe your add-on clearly to get an accurate quote. If your requested add-on is highly complicated, it may be subject to a higher price than what’s listed.

Clients may provide fur/fabric materials, provided that the materials are of high quality and approved by Maker. Any costs associated with transportation of materials are the responsibility of the Client.

All listed prices are in USD, unless otherwise stated. Canadians can request CAD pricing if preferred. Discounts are available in certain circumstances so please check my TOS and ask me about it when you’re receiving your quote!

Artistic Liberty
Artistic liberty suits are absolutely okay and encouraged! Holopawz Studio absolutely loves working with artistic liberty commission requests.

The above prices are ADDED onto base prices and are not a replacement or alternative price for the base prices of listed commission types. For example an extra charge for a foam core tail is added onto the price of a tail or a commission type that includes a tail.

Also please note any extra fur, fabric, minky or fleece colours needed beyond the included ones in base prices can range from $50-$150+ PER extra colour. Price is dependent on the type of fur/fabric needed and how many extra colours are required. For example a set of paws would have a lower extra fur cost than a fullsuit with multiple extra colours!

Terms of Service

  1. General

    1. By commissioning Holopawz Studio (“Maker”) you, the commissioner (“Client”), agree to all of the terms of service outlined herein (“TOS”). Client agrees that they fully understand everything within the TOS. Maker takes zero responsibility for a client failing to read or understand the TOS. By commissioning the Maker, you are also agreeing to and confirming that you are not a minor (as defined in the Client’s jurisdiction) and are not using fraudulent IDs, financial information, or shipping information to obtain a commission. A photo of legal, valid and up to date government identification is required to confirm your age and correct identity information.
    2. Holopawz Studio is located on Vancouver Island in Canada and all packages are shipped from here unless alternative pickup arrangements are made. All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified or agreed upon. Residents of Canada can request a CAD price.
    3. Maker reserves the right to stop a commission at any time, for any reason. In the event that the commission is stopped or work has not started within 6 months of full payment, and the TOS has not been breached or violated, the client is entitled to a full refund, at the Maker’s discretion.
    4. Violation of the TOS could result in immediate commission cancellation, permanent black listing, public warnings, voiding of refund policies, and legal repercussions at the Maker’s full discretion.
    5. Maker will not tolerate any form of abuse, fraud, violence, harassment, bigotry, hate speech, lies, misinformation, discrimination or threats in any way, shape or form. This includes aggressive, threatening, sexual, suggestive or otherwise inappropriate messages.
    6. All quotes provided by Maker are valid for one month (30 days) from the date the quote is sent.
    7. Fullsuits require a well made and accurate Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) for construction. Shipping the DTD to maker is the full responsibility of the client. All other parts will require a series of different measurements. It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure the measurements are accurate and properly taken. Holopawz Studio does not take any responsibility for incorrect/poorly done measurements or DTDs.

  2. Warranty

    1. Maker guarantees all fursuits and fursuit parts to be free of defects or problems within one year of completion. This warranty only applies to fursuits and parts that have been cared for according to their included care instructions. This warranty is void in the event that the suit transfers ownership without informing the Maker. This warranty does not cover intentional damage by Client or damage by other people. This warranty also doesn’t cover any normal imperfections that do not impact the quality or durability of the completed commission.
    2. Warranty is void in the event alternations are made to the suit by any business or person other than Holopawz Studio because the Maker cannot confirm whether or not the alterations caused damage to the suit or structure of the suit.
    3. By commissioning Maker, Client agrees to thoroughly read and understand any care instructions that are given with a finished commission and you understand that failing to follow the care instructions will void this warranty.
    4. While Holopawz Studio does not care how you wish to use your suit, sexual conduct of any nature while using and/or wearing a commission created by Maker will void the one year warranty.
    5. Any items returning to Maker for repairs/alterations must be thoroughly cleaned, sterilized and free of any bodily odours or residues. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of repair/alteration without refund.
    6. Maker is willing and able to provide advice and guidance on fixing your suit by yourself as well! If you’re curious to learn how to fix and make repairs at home or if your suit is past the warranty period, you’re always welcome to reach out to figure out the best way to mend your suit. Please also reach out if you’re unsure of any part of the care instructions for your suit! Holopawz Studio is available to provide clarification and guidance on any part of caring for your suit properly.

  3. Shipping

    1. Maker takes no responsibility for any delays, damages, issues or losses that arise from shipping or transportation of a commission. Please note that no compensation, refunds, free work or free replacements will be made due to a shipping issue that is beyond Makers control.
    2. Maker is not responsible for any possible fees, taxes, tariffs or payments that may be required by any countries or borders. Failure to respect this will result in immediate cancellation, blacklisting and no refund. Pickups within Canada are welcomed to avoid any possible extra costs.
    3. All packages shipped by Maker will be packed as safely as possible and can be insured for the full or partial value of the commission, or the maximum allowed by courier.
    4. All shipping costs are the full responsibility of the Client, including any charges for insurance. Shipping costs must be fully paid before the item leaves the Maker. Packages will be shipped using UPS, FedEx, DHL, or Canada Post.
    5. Clients are welcome to pickup their commission in person or at cons that Maker attends. Maker can also make arrangements to meet in the Seattle area to make it easier and more secure to get a commission to an American Client. Please note that if you request a pickup in Seattle, you will be responsible for the Makers travel+time costs associated with such arrangement, expect around $500USD for a Seattle, Washington pickup request.

  4. Payment

    1. A 30% non-refundable down payment is required before any work starts on a commission.
    2. Full payment must be received before a commission leaves the Maker.
    3. Work may start before full payment is made given that the down payment has already been received.
    4. Short payment plans may be offered, at Maker’s discretion. Payment plans must be discussed prior to commissioning. Failure to follow through with the agreed upon payment plan may be considered a breach of the TOS and may subject your commission to cancellation without refund.
    5. Payment can be sent via PayPal, Stripe, or an approved bank transfer (collectively, “Payment Processors”). E-transfer available for Canadians. Cash is also an option, only available to Locals.
    6. Small discounts are available in the event that you are either a Local or you pay via e-transfer, cash or an approved bank transfer. Cash payment is only available to Locals. (“Locals” are clients who live close to me and reside in Canada!) Please ask me about this to see if you qualify!
    7. Fraudulent or deceptive financial conduct of any sort, including chargebacks, will result in immediate blacklisting, public shoutouts of all your information across all platforms, changing your suit status to stolen and pursuing legal repercussions at Makers discretion. Anyone found aiding these types of criminals will receive the same treatment and repercussions.

  5. Refunds

    1. Refunds are only available to those who have not violated any part of the TOS.
    2. Down payments are not refundable unless Maker cancels the commission before work is started on the commission and the client has not violated any part of the TOS.
    3. Refunds after work has begun are highly dependent on the stage of commission completion. Once a commission has entered the final stages of completion, no refunds will be offered if Client cancels the commission.
    4. Once a commission is cancelled, no part of the commission will leave Maker. Cancelled commissions will be changed in design and sold as a premade
    5. Client must ensure they are fully financially prepared to commission Maker prior to requesting a commission and paying a down payment.

  6. Turnaround time

    1. Turnaround times are highly variable due to material sourcing, stock and procurement.
    2. Most commissions will be finished in 1-4 months after full payment is received. Maker cannot guarantee finishing a commission by a certain date. Commissions can take longer if there are shipping/material delays, if your suit design has high complexity or if it has many parts/add-ons. If you are paying via a payment plan, the 1-4 month turnaround time will start when the suit is finished being paid off. Your suit may be started before your payment plan is finished depending on Makers discretion and queue. You may not request that Maker start work prior to full payment being received. Failure to respect this will be considered a breach of the TOS and could subject your commission to cancellation without refund.
    3. If a specific date is desired, Maker may make a reasonable attempt to complete the commission by the desired date, at Maker’s discretion. Rush fees may apply for urgent requests.
    4. No guarantees will be made for any commission to be finished by a specific date. Failure to respect this will result in immediate cancellation of commission with no refund.

  7. WIPs

    1. Maker will send work-in-progress updates and/or pictures (“WIPs”) when they are available.
    2. Client will clearly express if there is any issue with the commission or work. Maker will check in at many points and confirm multiple times before proceeding throughout the process. Failure to communicate is not Maker’s responsibility. The client is fully responsible to voice any concerns upon viewing a WIP and before a suit is completed.
    3. Maker may send and showcase WIPs on any and all social media platforms that they use to showcase their work. If Client desires that a commission not be displayed while in progress, Client must clearly communicate as such prior to sending down payment.

  8. Finished Work

    1. Maker may showcase and publicly display pictures of all finished commissions on any social media platforms they operate on.
    2. All commissions will be made to the highest quality available and will be made in Maker’s toony styles. Requests to make commissions mimic other makers’ work, art, use premade headbase patterns or request that Maker change and alter their style to follow another makers looks, artwork or work are completely inappropriate and highly disrespectful. Failure to respect Holopawz Studio work and style will result in commission cancellation or denial.
    3. Maker does not accept requests to downgrade or change standard features or construction of a commission if it impacts the durability, quality, style or construction process.
    4. All finished work is ultimately unique and no finished commissions will look exactly the same as previous ones due to the fact that all bases are hand carved and every material is a bit different.
    5. Please keep in mind faux fur and other fabrics used only come in a limited number of colours and high quality fur can be even more limited. Maker will not use lower quality materials to colour match. Exact colour matches are almost impossible and fabric/fur colours not matching perfectly to a reference sheet will never be considered a fault or error.
    6. As stated under the Warranty section; Normal imperfections that do not impact the quality or durability of the completed commission are not considered a fault, a flaw or a problem and will not be “corrected” and do not fall under any warranty claims. Handmade suits and hand carved bases will have slight asymmetries. Please see Holopawz Studio work to see how finished commissions look like.

  9. Abandonment/Loss of contact

    1. Abandoned commissions are not subject to any refund. A commission will be considered abandoned if Maker is unable to make contact and communication with Client for over 8 weeks, or if Client has not communicated plans to pick up, ship or otherwise transport a finished work within 4 weeks of completion.
    2. If communication is lost without warning for over a week, Maker has the right to continue with the commission to the best of ability for the next couple weeks. If loss of contact continues, work on the suit will stop and the suit will be moved to the bottom of the queue.
    3. If contact is regained after an extended time period, the suit will likely not move back to the original spot in the queue. Please note this is nothing personal but Maker is unable to delay or interrupt the rest of the queue due to issues beyond Makers control.

  10. Reference Sheets

    1. All clients must send an accurate, up to date, flat coloured reference sheet for any commissions.
    2. Reference Sheet must show (collectively, “Reference Parts”):
      1. Front side
      2. Back side
      3. Eyes
      4. Mouth
      5. Paws
    3. Clear, flat coloured artworks may be accepted in place of reference sheet, at Maker’s discretion, if the artwork is clear and accurately depicts Reference Parts.

  11. Pets

    1. Maker is located within a cat friendly home. The kitties aren’t allowed onto the materials or furs but dander or cat fur could possibly be on any commission.
    2. Maker will thoroughly clean, sanitize and vacuum all commissions before they leave the studio but cannot guarantee that they will be free of any cat fur or dander. Please use caution if you’re allergic to cats!
